Permanent Daylight 01

Ok, to be fair this is a cop-out too. I had this story in reserve for what seems like forever. I never got around to working on it. This story was suppose to be part of the WTComic collection. I got self conscious about this and just didn’t do it.
The web-comic thing is suppose to be me say fuck it and doing it. Which I am doing. This is me doing a story that should have been done ages ago.
And this is me exploring Illustrator for a short story. I might switch to it from now on for stories. In the long run it would make life easier if I ever get the opportunity to put this in a dead tree edition.
blog...

Reasons why things aren’t getting updated

I’ve decided that I really do want to do things with Vector art. There is just one problem, I’m not use to this new medium.  I also don’t have the amount of free time that I’d like to have, so I have to work on things and then I get to play.

Drawing is playing.

Art is fun.

I’ll start posting again when I get the drawing down to a place where I like it. Which should be within a month.

What’s Coming For This Strip

This story will tie into a larger story that’s been brewing for ages. But I want to tell this one, then it will be about man in the Brown Winnebago, back to these characters, A character that we’ll see on page five and then trying to break things out into chunks from here on out. I just want to give the general layout of what’s to come and what might not come. You never know if there might be a better story that comes along at the last moment that might be a better fit at the time.

Edit 05

I had to edit 05, since it made no sense. So it’s edited and reposted.

I’m late

I shouldn’t be late, but I am. I’ll other strip that I had planned for now and put the other one of the back burner for a spell. I hate being late, but this is what happened. Again sorry folks.

Six done.

The first six pages were done and are already set for a daily release. So by the nineteenth page six will appear. This is the first time that I’ve done a story. I’ve always had this set up for a long form, but when it came down to it, I choked on style layout and everything else. Right now I’m just going to go for some short stories and set up. Hopefully getting everything in order for a longer story.

The next story will be based on a story that was told to me be a friend. I’m going to go from “pen and paper,” in this case, Painter X to Illustrator CS3. I’ve had some luck with illustrating this way. It will look a lot cleaner.

OK, the learning curve

So there is a leanring curve to this web comic managment plugin for ComicPress. It’s a pain in the ass when you want to set up everything for a single day release. For day by day, not so hard. Multiple pages for one day. Pain. In. The. Ass.

As soon as I get things under control. I hope to update more pages, per day.

This is the start

I can’t really say much besides this. It’s the start. I’ve been dying to get a story out for ages and now i just rushed and got one out. It’s going to be six pages and that’s it.
